From 1991 to 1993, The birth of underground gay clubbing came launching from the loins of Brendan Cooney, who managed to create the atmosphere and vibe of a dance party every weekend. Tony Svehla, Stephen Hales and Andrew Collins played the very contemporary dance tracks to an adoring crowd, knowing that most of the outside world didn't even know what dance music was.

It was this club that inspired me to be a DJ. I bought my first vinyl because of this club, and as my collection grew, i went from someone who had no desire whatsover to be DJ, to someone who had such a love of music i thought `Why not`

This podcast is dedicated to the greatest club that ever was, the greatest crowd and the greatest DJ`s. But most of all its for the Old Old Skoolers who after 20 years can still talk about the amazing times we had and all that amazing music which you just cant seem to find anymore.

For good measure i have also included a couple of tracks from another infamous club Tasty, it too led the way in cutting edge music!

When i get around to getting off my bum and digitising my records i will post a series of similar podcasts, but for the time being these are the songs i have downloaded which shoud if anything bring back some happy memories.

Ok this ones a bit different. This mix is made up of MP3`s i have on my Ipod. Inspired by songs i have on Gaydar radio, legendary DJ Dan Murphy and various other sources. Not my usual trancey style but boppy, chunky and lots of vocal. Hope you like.

This was a demo CD for a popular Melbourne Cup Eve dance party called RUN which took over the legindary and now-demolished Palace venue by St Kilda beach. This was made for the party back in 1999.

As a lot of my old crew were hankering for some old stuff I thought I would post this compilation of uplifting and progressive trance that slowly ends in some up tempo funky house.

PLEASE NOTE: About 40 minutes into the set, one of the tracks actually starts to jump (nothing a little nudge of the turntable didn't fix Smile
